Creating capacity for OD
Creating capacity for ODIn late 2007, a financial services client engaged with WorldsView™ Consulting to assist in the implementation of a competitive new strategy for their retail division.
Driven by the strategy, WorldsView™ partnered with managers in the client organisation to explore what the strategic shift means for them, and what structure was required to support and execute on it. In the realm of structure, WorldsView™ Consulting supported them in defining roles and responsibilities, core capabilities and ways of working that would powerfully deliver the new strategy.
As the seies of workshops came to an end, the power of the organisational development techniques, and the fundamental importance of these issues to managerial decisions had become very clear to the participating managers – to the extent that they motivated for a development course to give managers the capability to implement fundamental organisational development in their own operations.
WorldsView™ Consulting are in developent of new a program that aims to democratise organisational development, and build corporate communities.
